I have been going to Eastern Deli since I moved to the neighborhood in 2013. Great food every time! The burger combo is a great deal for the price. Toppings are always fresh and fries are always cooked properly.
The gyro meat is right off the spit, hot, freah and perfectly browned. The gyros are loaded with meat and toppings alike, and if you get 2 orders of fries, the subs & gyros are both great to split. The Philly steak sub is cooked up on the grill right in front of you and put on fresh, warm bread.
A great place to stop by if you are near Eastern & Burton. Tell them what you want, sit down for a few minutes, and remember the tip jar :) -

They have great Gyros. The most popular is the black and white which is chicken and lamb. I personally just like the lamb. They are big, a full size pita. Fries don't come seasoned but they can add if you ask. The philly's are super good and so are the burgers. Good place to stop. Average $10 for a combo. Small establishment.

I love the Steak Sub with fresh green olives on top. Its a favorite and staff is friendly. Tables to eat in also. I must say I come hear at least once month.

Get the Philly Cheese Steak. It is the best one in Grand Rapids. The fries are also very good.

These guys have it down. Get the Philly Steak. Monstrous sandwich with juicy steak and creamy melted cheese with a handful of toppings at your choosing. They also fry French fries fresh (tongue twister alert) and serve them to you piping hot. Their refrigerator is full of cans of just about everything-I have never seen an array of 12 ounce cans of about every flavor of soda, lemonade, or tea ever. Nice dudes, love soccer, and grill up some mean sandwiches. Get you one ASAP.
